Wolfe City Rail Trail now has a primitive overnight camp ground!
This beautiful park is located at the city lakes which is right off the trail.
Trail users passing thru now have a spot to stop and rest for the night. They can safely pitch a tent while biking, packing, or hiking along the North East Texas Trail.
The campsite has been named in memory of Wolfe City police officer Tom Ellis White who gave his life in the line of duty July 8th, 1975.
‼️ For safety purposes, and to ensure availability of the campsite, users of the Tom Ellis White Park must reserve the park here:

(A BIG special thanks goes to the hard working boys of Troop 313 from Greenville, Texas. Now Scout troops will have a place to enjoy our trail for years to come!)
