On April 27, 2021, from 6:00 a.m. to midnight, the NorthEast Texas Trail Coalition will be participating in East Texas Giving Day.
East Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online event that provides critical funding for nonprofits by connecting donors with organizations like the North East Texas Trail.
Your generous donation will be used exclusively as matching funds toward a grant that will improve the East end of the NETT, from Hwy 98 to FM 1840 in Bowie County. This is the section that, as many of you know, was damaged by the TxDOT widening project of Highway 82 several years ago. This section desperately needs drainage repaired, safety bollards installed, the surface graded, base rock replaced, and trees re-established.
In 2020 we were able to raise over $4000, even despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year our goal is $4500!
