This is the video that was played during the NorthEast Texas Trail Coalition’s luncheon honoring past president, Earl Erickson.
It is impossible to summarize the impact Earl has had on developing safe recreational opportunities in NE Texas and statewide. The NorthEast Texas Trail would not exist without his leadership, grit, and vision that, like the hub of a wheel, connects 16 trail town communities, 133 miles, 7 counties, and literally thousands of people together.
Because of Earl the NETT is moving ever closer toward our Big Hairy Audacious Goal of becoming a Texas Parks and Wildlife State Linear Park.
We all say, “Thanks, Earl!”
