DESCRIPTION:Join us in a celebratory ride to celebrate of the completion of the 50 mile stretch of the Northeast Texas Trail from Roxton to Clarksville! \nThis event page will serve as a platform for information and discussion for all involved & participating in this event. \nIt is a non-supported ride with no fee at all\, so make personal plans for your ride. You can start where you want and ride far as you want. Each trail town will provide a refreshment location and other perks for the riders that come through. \nTrail towns include: Clarksville\, Bagwell\, Detroit\, Blossom\, Reno\, Paris\, and Roxton \nPREREGISTER FOR A REWARD:\nThose who preregister will be able to collect commemorative buttons in each trail town. If you collect all seven buttons\, present those to a trail town monitor and you will be put into a drawing for a prize from Cycle Works Paris valued at $100! \nPreregister HERE\nThere will be a commemorative tshirt for the Gran Fondo 50 that can be purchased from the online store with Screen Graphics. All trail towns will be highlighted on the shirt. \nWhat a great way to get out with the family\, ride together\, and celebrate new sections of the Northeast Texas Trail! DESCRIPTION:Rails to Trails Conservancy’s National Opening Day for Trails 2019 in Roxton!\nCome visit the beautiful Roxton Trail section of the Chaparral Rail Trail on Saturday\, April 13th to help kick off the 2019 Trail Season.\nThe Chaparral Rail Museum will be open and serving refreshments from 10am – 4pm. Bring your walking shoes\, horse\, or bicycle and explore the newly improved Chaparral Rail Trail toward Paris. There’s 16 round trip miles of beautiful safe motorized traffic free gravel trail! There’s plenty of improved parking for everyone at the museum. After you’ve worked up a hunger on the trail grab a delicious bite to eat at the Roxton Cafe.\n\n\nIt’s FREE fun for the whole family!  This event will be held RAIN OR SHINE.  Ya’ll come!
